One of my original passions is helping people to decrease chronic pain and patterns so they can find balance in their bodies and life.
After seeing the life-changing potential of massage therapy after a car accident at 17, I decided to go to massage school directly after high school graduation. I graduated from Blue Sky School of Therapeutic Massage in Grafton, Wisconsin in 2001. Since that time I have taken hundreds of hours of continuing education. My obsession with anatomy and kinesiology continues to lead me towards more therapeutic and technical types of massage. In clinical practice I incorporate muscle testing, gait analysis, and postural assessment to determine priorities for how and what I work on. I feel my longevity in this career is all thanks to constant curiosity with each new session. I absolutely love working with every individual client to build a unique plan to help achieve balance in their bodies.
Some of my favorite continuing education classes include:
Neuromuscular Therapy for: Arm and Hand, Shoulder, Neck and Head, Trunk, Lower Extremity
Advanced Deep Tissue Techniques
Trigger Point Therapy
Nutritional Muscle Testing (you’d be amazed at how many nutritional deficiencies play into muscular and postural imbalances!)
Upcoming class on Neurokinetic Therapy in October 2019!
